A life size sculpture by Rachel Ducker has been installed today at a landmark roundabout at the entrance to Henley-on-Thames.

Landscape designer Paul Terroni won a competition run by Henley in Bloom to redesign the roundabout, which is sponsored by the Henley Standard. The idea is to show Henley as a “gateway to a healthy lifestyle” and create a vibrant welcome to the town.

The roundabout design features Rachel’s sculpture surrounded by flower beds of Olympic-style interlocking rings planted in bright colours.
