“The stand is split level. On the lower tier is a loosely planted gravel garden with a scattering of Schellevis planks that lead to giant 1m x 1m cantilever steps set onto the edge of the upper terrace. On one of these sits a life size wire figure with copper hair projecting into the air, created by the renowned British contemporary artist Rachel Ducker.
The atmosphere on the upper terrace is very different. Minimal and laid out on a grid, it features the new Schellevis cube seating, used here as a plinth for another Rachel Ducker piece.”
